WIWW: The Return

The whole reason Lindsey started What I Wore Wednesday was to get out of her pj/work out clothes rut and in to something real. Back in my working days I was quite the faithful WIWW participant,  but staying at home, especially during the summer with no schedule, has turned me into the definition of who WIWW is for!  So, I am slowly making my way back into the habit of putting on real outfits every day. As comfy as my shorts and tees are, I really am so much more productive when I am dressed in real clothes, which is a good thing! Here are the few outfits I do have this week:

Sunday: Church

I love my short hair, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes it gets boring. There's no abundance of pins out there of how to put a bun in your hair, the newest twist to try out or anything exciting like that because I just don't have enough hair to do it. So occasionally I get bored and try something new and end up with this look that I like to call "80's Aerobics Instructor." It actually photographed better than I think it looked in person and I'm not sure I'll be trying it out again! {unless you have any tips then please send them my way!}

Tuesday: errands & housework

here's the main observation I take away from this week:

  1. I love my short hair too, but sometimes it is hard to feel that it's girly--the trick that works for me is to stick some bling in it: a bow, a flower, a sparkly hairpin...
    I like the bright scarf you wore with the striped dress!

  6. I think you are so cute, and I LOVE your short hair! And I guess the option is there with long hair to change it up, but I get just as bored with my long hair. I think yours is sassy and unique!!
