26 Weeks!

26-Weeks

Size of Baby:  According to Baby Center,  our little man's ears are better developed and he may even be able to hear our voices! {time to stop saying butt and shut up!} He's weighing in around 1 and 2/3 lb and is about 14 inches long!

Symptoms: - I hate to sound like a broken record, but the rib pain is really my constant symptom now. I had a dr.'s appointment yesterday and asked if there was anything I could do to help with it. While she was sweet and didn't laugh at me, she might as well have! Basically he has no where else to go except for my ribs because of the fibroid, so it looks like I have a long 14 weeks ahead of me!

Cravings/Aversions: - Still a little sickened by the thought of water, but I'm trying to keep chugging along and stay hydrated.

Maternity Clothes: - Thankful to still be in both. I am ready to find more shorts though. Even though I won't be able to wear them to work, I don't think I'll survive the summer without them!

Sleep: - Still sleeping high maintenance style with lots of pillows, but at least I'm sleeping!

 Highlights Of This Week:
 - While the car ride wasn't fun, it sure was nice to have a a quick vacation!

- Celebrating on Sunday, May 27th, that our little man will be here in exactly 3 months, August 27th! Since then our OB actually changed the date to the 29th to help out with my maternity leave, but still, we're on the down hill side now!

Funniest Dream Of This Week: - It wasn't funny, but last night I had my first leg cramp that woke me up. After that, I had about 4 quick dreams that all revolved around my legs cramping again. Not the most restful nights!

Looking forward to: - Next week! We have several doctors appointments scheduled - a check up with our high risk OB where we'll get to see Griffin, a check up with my cardiologist and a follow up for Griffin's second fetal echocardiogram. Can't wait to see how much he's grown!

  1. can't remember if i already suggested this, but the chiropractor is doing wonders for my rib pain. also, she suggested icing my back where the ribs are - 20 minutes of every hour (i normally do it in the evenings) and it's really helping as well. sorry if i already posted!
