We've really enjoyed watching Madeline grow this year. I'm telling you, there's nothing like being around a baby to make you realize how quickly time flies! When it came time to choose a present, I wanted to give Madeline something that would last a long time. She already has a better wardrobe than I do, along with all of the greatest toys and gizmos, so I starting thinking more along the sentimental lines.

I actually saw this idea on the How Does She? Blog. They have some great ides for more craft ideas than one person needs! I saw this idea for a growth chart and knew it was the perfect gift, but that it definitely need some snazzy up! Here's the finished product:

The 7 on the heart you see at the top is actually one of the numbers that will be glued on every birthday to mark how tall Madeline is for that year. I have to admit, I'm pretty proud of how cute it turned out!
