34 Weeks

As of today, we have THIRTY FIVE days until our current scheduled c-section. Now, there is still a chance that he could come naturally {and closer to his due date of Sept. 2} but we are trying to have everything ready to go for that day- which is crazy close! Here are the details from this week:

Size of Baby: According to Baby Center, little man is about the size of a cantaloupe now- around 5 lbs and 18 inches long. Thanks to our sonogram yesterday, we did see that he already has a nice head of hair! Seriously, it was crazy to see that much detail on the screen and I can't wait to see what color it is!

Symptoms: - More firey pain, which I really thought was Griffin pushing up against my skin. Until yesterday, when I had to sit on the heart monitor for a while at my doctor's and they also were tracking contractions. Turns out that firey pain actually registered as a contraction. Yeaaaah. The nurse wasn't concerned with it since I only had the one in the 30 minute period, but it certainly opened my eyes! I am now trying to be more aware about tracking them to make sure they don't become anything regular.

checking in on our little man.

This week seems to have brought back major tiredness, leaving me wanting a nap every day after work and wanting to go to bed rather early in the evenings. While I want to rest, I am also being careful to make sure I have a good balance of rest and productivity! {see 35 days above.}

Cravings/Aversions: - No major cravings this week.

Maternity Clothes: - Still rocking both. Definitely wishing I had more maternity tank tops to wear. And seriously considering wearing flip flops to work. I've heard that pregnant ladies can get away with wearing any type of footwear because no one wants to say something mean to them. I may end up testing out this theory!

Sleep: - Eh. It's hard to get comfortable and cool. About the time I do, then I need a bathroom break. It's a never ending cycle!

Funniest Dream Of This Week: - Surprisingly enough, Cody had the funniest dream this week! He dreamed that we actually had a girl who could say words at four days old. She was also talking in full sentences by one month old. He thinks this means we will have a genius baby :)

Highlights Of This Week:
-No major high lights that I can think of this week. The one thing that sticks out is that if Griffin does decide to come early, at this point they would just let him come and not try and stop labor. Which is scary and exciting... and makes me think we have to get stuff done around this house!

Looking forward to: deep cleaning the house... I must be sick!
