Grandparent Hangover

While we were enjoying our time at High School Camp, Griffin was thoroughly being spoiled while spending time with both sets of grandparents.  It it really convenient for our parents to live about an hour apart so they can split the week and not get too worn out!

Griff is at a really fun stage right now. He's happy, curious, has a flexible schedule and can communicate basic needs to you which makes everything seem easier. I told my mom G was going to have a hard time coming back to us because we don't do this much fun stuff! Water play, cookie baking, sidewalk chalk, swimming, feeding the ducks, playing in Fort FancyBoots, freshened up the paint on the house,  and helped out with chores!

We're working through a detox program right now. It involves relearning what veggies are, remembering that we do nap and a few tears when mom doesn't immediately do what G wants! The worse the detox, the better the week! Thanks Noni, Boots, Oma and Opa!
