The Nose Knows - Kleenex Style Studio

If there's one thing I've known about Cody since our friendship began 11 years ago, it's that the poor boy suffers from some major allergies. Like all year long, runny nose, watery eyes, medicine won't touch it because the West Texas air has too much blowin' in it allergies.  Sadly, I haven't been too sympathetic towards him because I don't suffer and so I couldn't relate to his pain.

Until the holidays when we went up to the panhandle. There my body chose to revolt on me and sent me into allergy overdrive.  It's a wonder Cody didn't kick me out to the curb with all of the whining and moping I did over my poor runny nose, my watery, itchy eyes and my very dramatic "woe is me I think I might be the first person ever to die because of allergies" act.

Luckily for me, my allergies went away. Cody is still suffering through, but I'm at least trying to help it be a little more enjoyable now. All of our married life Cody has used toilet paper to blow his nose so I did too during my near death experience.  Bad idea. Since then I've decided to splurge for him in order to make his daily struggle a little more enjoyable. Because y'all, the nose knows. And it has confirmed that Kleenex is a much smarter choice than toilet paper!

In honor of their 90th anniversary, Kleenex is celebrating in style - the Kleenex Style Studio to be exact! It's a fun new way to discover what all Kleenex has to offer with the designs and products you love.  Our 50's style bathroom leaves much to be desired on the design front, but at least I can spruce it up with a fun box of tissues!

And since I bought these for Cody, I made sure he had a cute box within reach too:

While everyone knows the name Kleenex, I bet you didn't know that:

- Kleenex has been in the Museum of Modern Art twice. (check out one here)

- Kleenex invented Social in 1941 with a campaign called True Confessions (read a few of them here) (who would have thought the first social media campaign started with a tissue?)

- Kleenex started out as facial tissue for removing makeup. (I am amazed by this, yet will not try it. any takers? )

Now here's the fun part and your chance to win by testing your fashion sense. Visit the Kleenex style finder landing page and click on “sweeps” tab in the top right corner of the page.  Then click “Play to Enter” and test your skills at choosing which one is actually the Kleenex design and which was on the catwalk. I had to stop and think on some of them... plus I wish I had some of those patterns in my house!

So fess up, are you a Kleenex kinda gal or do you use toilet paper? Depending on your answer, what are you waiting for?

Thanks to Kleenex for sponsoring today's post.
