In A Pinch.

A while back I got these new shoes:

I do believe they are quickly becoming my favorite pair of shoes. Ever.

I mean, leopard print, rhinestones, and a tooled wedge sole. What more can a girl ask for?

As cute as my shoes are, they're not the star of this post.

Actually, this guy is:

Almost every pair of shoes I've gotten from Yellow Box come with this foam piece to help them keep their shape. I used to throw them out without much thought, but then I found a handy dandy trick for them.

Here's my outfit from the Fourth of July:

When you take a closer look, you'll see some lovely white marks on my tank.

Unfortunately, deodorant marks can be super common in the summer for those of us who try to stay away from stanky arm pits.

Luckily, there's now a quick and easy way to remove the marks! Grab your foam toe separators from you new, super cute shoes and start wiping at the marks. In no time at all, they'll be gone!

I use these things all the time to save an outfit. Because I travel a lot for work, I now keep one permanently in my suit case so I don't have to worry about getting stuck out on the road with white marks on my outfit!  I don't remember using it for this purpose, but I've also heard that work great to get make up off!

I hope this simple tip will help you out when you're in a pinch!

{p.s. sorry about the close up shot of my arm pit. Maybe I should have put a disclaimer at the top!}

{p.p.s. The deodorant marks looked much whiter in person than in the pictures.}

  1. I love this tip! Stray deodorant marks are the worst, and they always seem to get on me when I have on black clothes and they become very noticeable. I wanted you to know I featured this page on my laundry, cleaning & stain removal links for the week on my site since it was so helpful. Thanks for sharing!
