Eleven Weeks.

eleven-weeks
{ten and I living it up in la quinta this week!}

Size of Baby: According to Baby Center, Ten is the size of a fig and just over 1 1/2 in. long. We had a sonogram on Monday though and T was measuring 7.45 cm, which thanks to some quick googling is justalmost three inches. So it seems as if we created a giant!

Symptoms:
 - Nausea has slightly gotten better. I was at a college fair this morning and while in the bathroom, one of the other recruiters was in there hovering by the toilet. She told me she was trying to get her morning sickness over with before going to have to work the fair. And in that moment, I thanked the Lord that all I'm dealing with is nausea. Because as awful as it is at times, I know the alternative is worse!
 - Still sleepy, mostly in the afternoon. I have been pretty good about getting into bed by 9 or 9:30, but ended up staying up later this weekend and paid for it. The later I'm awake, the more likely I am to have nausea at night time. So early to bed for me it is!
-Hunger. Oh my the hunger! I've noticed the past couple of weeks that I cannot eat enough on Mondays and Tuesdays. So I'm beginning to think T has a growth spurt on these days.

Cravings/Aversions: Bean burritos still sound good all the time. Basically anything savory/salty sounds like a wonderful meal to me, and currently have absolutely no desire for sweets. Don't remind me of this statement when I'm 9 months and only eating ice cream :)

Maternity Clothes: None so far, though I feel like I need to wear a sign that says "Pregnant Not Pudgy!" Because really, right now I just feel pudgy in almost everything I put on!

Sleep: Sleeping ok, as long as I go to bed on time. Already getting up lots for the bathroom thanks to the fibroid, but beginning to see some signs that it might be getting better.

Highlights Of This Week:
- Going to the high risk OB and hearing that the fibroid hasn't grown.
- Going to my normal OB, seeing T {and that freakishly big head right now that only a mother could love!} and hearing that we don't have to come back for a month! After almost 8 doctors appointments over the last 3 weeks, it's so nice to get to be on a "normal" schedule!
- Drinking a {caffeine free} DDP on Sunday and actually enjoying it! Up until this point, DDP and coffee had about as much appeal as licking someone's foot {dear Lord forgive me for the blasphemy!} so it was such a nice little treat! I'm still chugging away at the water, but let's be honest, it just gets bland after a while!

Funniest Dream Of This Week: {people are right when they say you have some crazy pregnant dreams, so I figure, why not write 'em down?!}
- I dreamed that an old high school friend announced their pregnancy at a pool party. They made everyone get in the pool, then gave us a presentation about some water conservation thingy and then ended the presentation by saying they were pregnant. The absolute best moment was when she said, "I'm pregnant!" and then did a triple flip into the water. {where does this stuff come from?!}

Looking forward to:
-  going home and actually celebrating Valentine's Day with Cody!
