This dress is without a doubt my favorite item in my closet. It's so versatile. I can make it super dressy, or go casual with it. I am ashamed at how old it is and know that eventually I will have to retire it, but I can't do that until I find a suitable replacement. And unfortunately, they do not make the little black dress like they used too. Apparently people actually had hips back in the day, and now they are just stick figures. If you have any suggestions of where to find the perfect LBD that is work appropriate, let me know!

This is actually a maxi dress that I love, but I'm never sure how to wear it to work because of the spaghetti straps. I can't find the right color of shirt to wear over it and tried this cardigan on a whim. I ended up loving the belted combination! You'll bee seeing more of this look in the coming months :)

I think you look amazing! You look great in belts...I try and then chicken out for some reason. My favorite LBD is from college and that was A LONG time ago! cute!

ReplyDeleteAlso, I've been liking Target's dress collection (and my hips have significantly expanded over the past year, so I think I know the problem you're talking about). The Merona ones are a little more generous for the hips and I fit in my normal size. If I get Mossimo, I need to size up.

ReplyDeleteI'm so digging the jean look, so your Monday outfit is my favorite! You could also pair it with tights and a kicking pair of heels for a more evening look. I totally want a jean top now!
