something you dont see every day, and surely not twice...

i'm covering the front desk right now. and while this morning was very busy, this afternoon is not.

and, there is no busy work for me to do, and i would feel really bad for playing on facebook, so i have concluded that blogging through my boredom is not such a bad idea.

two days ago i was leaving the tanning place and this old man was wogging (not quite walking yet neith a jog) by the building and i thought he moved his hand up to his mouth as if he was smoking a cigarette. but i ignored it, because he looked fit, and he was wogging. why would you defeat your healthy action with an unhealthy one, unless it was worthwhile, like coldstone ice cream?

well yesterday, as i was pulling up to the tanning place, the same man is wogging again. only this time, i clearly see that he is in fact, not smoking a cigarette, but a huge honking cigar.

i guess we all have our own motivations for being healthy, right?

today i saw a news article that talked about the increase in the cost of spam. can you believe they wasted internet space for that story?

here's something of note: cody submitted an application for a job. i won't go into any details, but our tiny brains think it fits pretty well into our life plan. and it would help out the financial situation that is called MARRIAGE. so please say some prayers, maybe that it would be the right thing for us and that we'll be trusting, no matter the outcome.

here's some other good news. my whole job is basically recruiting kids and selling college hours, and i myself haven't bought my college hours for next year, meaning i need to register for classes. i thought i had my semester mapped out, but then i realized the courses won't help me graduate, aka they dont work in my degree plan. however, i did find one i need today that only meets on two weekends, (aug. and dec.) and the rest is online. praise jesus hallelujah. (spell check please green d.o.t.) this works out great! it saves me the trouble of having to work extra hours to cover what i would miss in class time during the day. i'll talk another amen. thanks.

i read blog ettiquete today that said: blogs should be kept short. and always give credit when you take something off of someone else's blog. well, this is neither short and i can't remember the blog title. so you can stop reading if you don't like my prim and proper ways.

it's really just because work is slow. and i still have another hour to cover the front desk. awesome.

I've decided that I want to start my days off by reading this chapter every morning. So I'll end this already long blog with it.

Proverbs 2
The Value of Wisdom
1 My son, if you receive my words,
and treasure my commands within you,
2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD,
And find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He isa shield to those who walk uprightly;
8 He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path.
10 When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
11 Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
12 To deliver you from the way of evil,
From the man who speaks perverse things,
13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness
To walk in the ways of darkness;
14 Who rejoice in doing evil,
And delight in the perversity of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked,
And who are devious in their paths;
16 To deliver you from the immoral woman,
From the seductress who flatters with her words,
17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth,
And forgets the covenant of her God.
18 For her house leads down to death,
And her paths to the dead;
19 None who go to her return,
Nor do they regain the paths of life—
20 So you may walk in the way of goodness,
And keep to the paths of righteousness.
21 For the upright will dwell in the land,
And the blameless will remain in it;
22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth,
And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
